Connected entities and company groups

Serious real estate investors rarely operate under a single entity. They hold properties across multiple LLCs, revocable trusts, and sometimes personal names. Covent automatically groups these related entities so you're not tracking the same buyer five times under five different names.

What a company group is

A company group is a set of entities that Covent has identified as belonging to the same investor or team. Groups roll up to a single profile view so you can see the investor's full portfolio in one place.

How grouping works

Entities are grouped based on shared signals: the same beneficial owner, registered agent patterns, mailing address overlap, and portfolio clustering. The details vary by investor, but the result is a single source of truth for "this buyer" rather than a fragmented view.

When to override

If you know two entities are the same investor but Covent hasn't linked them yet, or you think two entities were linked incorrectly, add an internal note on the profile and flag it to support. Adjustments can be reviewed and applied.
